Design systems are evolving to support this shift—component libraries now need machine-readable specs so models can compose interfaces predictably and stay on-brand. Teams are also investing in evaluation pipelines to catch generated UI that breaks accessibility or usability standards before it reaches users.

We see generative UI as a complement to strong design systems, not a replacement for them—the best results come from constraining AI generation within well-defined, tested component boundaries.
